This Legislative training is hosted by the Transgender Education Network of Texas (TENT), and the Esperanza Peace & Justice Center in coordination with the ACLU of Texas.

Astrid Dominguez, Advocacy Coordinator for the ACLU of Texas, will serve as a panelist for an immigration webinar "The Road Ahead for Social Justice: Uplifting Border Voices" scheduled for Wed., Feb.
Damian Delgado, Community Organizer for the ACLU of Texas, will provide a Know Your Rights Presentation to the Humanists of Houston-Clear Lake.
Trisha Trigilio, Staff Attorney for the ACLU of Texas, will serve as a panelist for the 2017 Spring Conference, Misdemeanor Defendants and the 85th Legislative Session jointly hosted by the Texas Journal on Civil Liberti
On April 3, 1968, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. traveled to Memphis to support sanitation workers. That evening, he delivered his famous “I’ve Been to the Mountaintop” speech to a packed room of supporters. The next day, he was assassinated.
