Jahnara Khan

Jahnara Khan is the communications manager at the ACLU of Texas, where she focuses on digital communications to inform, engage, and mobilize communities across the state. With a background in advocacy communications and a passion for storytelling, Jahnara works to amplify the ACLU of Texas' mission through impactful content and strategic digital campaigns.

Previously, Jahnara served as the manager of brand and content at Good Reason Houston, where she shaped public education narratives by crafting compelling stories and building media relationships. She also has experience in nonprofit organizations and industries such as finance, real estate, and technology, where she developed content strategies to enhance brand visibility.

Jahnara holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Prairie View A&M University and an MBA from Texas Woman's University. She's driven by a commitment to equity, advocacy, and ensuring communities have access to the information they need to create meaningful change.
