Mary joined the ACLU of Texas as an elections protection organizer in 2023.
Upon graduating from The University of Texas at Austin, Mary left her hometown to live in Houston, Texas.
While serving tables during the COVID-19 pandemic, she was motivated to become an advocate for workers’ rights. She became an organizer and spent a year organizing Texas for the 2022 Gubernatorial Election.
Inspired by her previous work, Mary is studying for the LSAT and plans to become a lawyer advocating for the working class.
