Ashley Harris is a staff attorney in the ACLU of Texas' legal department. She was previously an Equal Justice Works fellow with the department since 2021. Her work focuses on fighting against voter suppression in communities disproportionately impacted by the criminal legal system.
Prior to joining the ACLU of Texas, Ashley clerked for the Honorable Robert Pitman in the Western District of Texas, and during law school she worked as an intern for the Texas Civil Rights Project and Disability Rights Texas. She is a double longhorn and holds a B.A. and J.D. from the University of Texas.
