Writer and Content Developer, ACLU of Texas
Mark Humphries joined the ACLU of Texas as a Writer and Content Developer in May of 2015.
Born in Sydney, Australia, Mark emigrated to Texas at an early age, and has since lived itinerantly in Houston, Dallas, Colorado, Connecticut, and Paris, France. He earned his PhD in French and Francophone Studies with a specialization in postcolonial theory at the University of Connecticut in 2010. Prior to joining the team, Mark worked as a French professor at Wesleyan University in Connecticut, as well as an editor and tech blogger.
