Vy serves as the executive coordinator for the ACLU of Texas.
He started his career in Colorado interning in the Colorado House of Representatives, working as a digital organizer at United for New Economy, and working as the director of organizing and membership at the Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition. He has uplifted and centered immigrant voices during the Colorado legislative session to pass bills expanding access to health care to undocumented youth and pregnant people as well as creating a Statewide Legal Defense Fund for immigrants facing deportation proceedings in Colorado.
Vy was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and in 2012 moved to Denver to attend the University of Denver to study political science and business. He is passionate about environmentalism, immigrant rights, and when he's not working, taking his dog Theo on long walks.
