Bio
TJ Colligan joined the ACLU of Texas in March of 2019 as graphic designer for the Communications department.
Born in Pittsburgh, he has been a Texan since age eight and a Houstonian for the last five years. He graduated from TCU with degrees in English and art where he worked as a consultant in the TCU Writing Center, was the co-host of a radio show about comic books, and interned for Bloomsbury Publishing while studying abroad in London.
Prior to joining the ACLU, TJ was a graphic artist for Whole Foods Market. Outside of his work fighting for civil liberties, he is a freelance designer and illustrator and is hard at work creating the next big series of young adult novels.
