Matt Levin is the Strategic Communications Manager for the ACLU of Texas' communications department. Matt joined the ACLU of Texas in the summer of 2020 as the border communications strategist and previously served as the lead communications strategist.
He recently completed a master’s in Latin American Studies at the University of Florida. His research looked at the ways that immigrant communities in South Florida used mobile technology to manage marginalization. Prior to that he worked for the digital team at the Houston Chronicle and spent four years at the longtime Costa Rica-based English-language newspaper The Tico Times.
Matt is thrilled to join the ACLU of Texas’ mission, and bring his background in immigrant rights and journalism to the team.
