Under the guidance of the Director of Development, the Deputy Director of Development ensures that the ACLU of Texas is establishing and strengthening long-term partnerships with philanthropic entities that contribute to the organization’s revenues: individual and leadership gifts, grants, and membership. The Deputy Director of Development executes strategies to engage donors while externally advancing organizational values and internally aligning with strategic goals.

The HR Associate is responsible for supporting the day-to-day coordination and administration of the organization’s human resources activities. This role requires a minimum of 24 hours each week working in-person/on-site and serves as a key point of contact for staff HR needs while supporting the HR & Admin Ops team. The HR Associate provides general support for recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, benefits administration, and HR compliance. The HR Associate’s duties include data entry, organizing records, scheduling, staff communications, and supporting HR programs and training.

The Artist Engagement Manager is a new leadership role in the Communications Department responsible for integrating arts and culture into the strategic advocacy of the ACLU of Texas. Building on the organization’s past work and future 5-year plan, this position will scale the flagship artist-in-residence program, develop new partnerships with cultural leaders and institutions throughout the state, and manage arts-based projects and events across issue areas.
