If you believe your civil liberties have been violated, please click here to request legal assistance. If you send the San Antonio Chapter your complaint, whether by e-mail or by letter, it will extend the time that it takes for your complaint to be processed.

The San Antonio Chapter meets the third Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. at The Ariel House 8118 Datapoint Dr.

San Antonio Chapter of the ACLU of Texas hosts Banned Books readings
What: Readings and discussions
Where: Central Library, 600 Soledad St. (Downtown)
When: Thursday, Oct. 1 @ 7 p.m.
Info: Authors Barbara Gonzalez and Jay Brandon will speak about freedom of expression and how censorship affects them as writers. Chapter President Patrick Filyk will talk about freedom of expression from a legal point of view and how the ACLU supports the First Amendment.

Attendees will get an opportunity to read from their favorite books that have been banned, restricted, challenged, or censored by Texas public schools.
