Interested volunteers should e-mail the Fort Worth Chapter to inquire about becoming a member of the Speakers Bureau.

Fort Worth Chapter Annual Meeting
The Fort Worth Chapter held an annual meeting on July 16th at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens. Executive Director Terri Burke gave an update on current program activities, and a wrap-up on the recent legislative session. Local reporter Todd Camp was invited to give a talk on the Rainbow Lounge Raid, which occured on the Stonewall anniversary. Todd was present the night of the raid along with several friends for his birthday celebration. A vibrant Q&A session proceeded Todd's presentation. Banned Books
Look here and to aclufw.org for upcoming Banned Books Week activities. As last year, there should be a ACLU sponsored display of banned books at the downtown branch, as well as our Annual Banned Books report at each library branch. A discussion panel is to be determined.
