Thursday, Nov, 2 at the Austin City Council, there will be a vote on an ordinance approving a pilot program for RED LIGHT CAMERAS, leading to a certain implementation of a 5-year contract for a larger scope program (potentially costing taxpayers $1.5 million). These programs are ripe with corruption and endanger many of our liberties. Read the report <hyperlink report> for more information. 

PLEASE CALL or EMAIL Council NOW (before 10:00 am Thursday morning) and demand they vote NO on ITEM 14 to protect civil liberties in Austin!  Also, if you can sign up to speak or donate time, it will help ensure the Item is pulled for discussion and we can speak against it.  Feel free to join us for a PRESS CONFERENCE WEDNESDAY, 4pm, in front of City Hall, Cesar Chavez and Lavaca.
